The holidays are all about giving. But, what if you could give presents while supporting friends?? That’s like multiplied giving.

Support a friend’s small business by shopping from them over the holidays. If you don’t have any creative friends, luckily, I do! Below are a few of my talented friends who have created or can create custom gifts. Check out their Etsy stores/social media for even more gift inspiration. I have never been so excited to share my friends’ hard work!

Andrea Larkins (or @memfitdre) has been a best friend of mine forever, and seems to have an ironic obsession with GLASS (her soon to be last name). This queen of side hustles is currently creating beautiful, customized artwork made from glass. She has plenty of other custom gifts available, but these perfect glass pieces can say anything, and are a memorable (and affordable) gift for anyone! Here is her Etsy!

Kaitlyn Dornbier is a graduate of the University of Iowa. We met at cheer camp one year and kept in touch (stalked each other) through social media. She sews her own clothes so well, including extravagant dresses each month, that she WROTE AN ACTUAL BOOK ABOUT IT. She recently released, Not Your Grandma’s Sewing Guide on Amazon, so millennials like us can create the clothes of our dreams. Get her book (either uncensored or the clean version) and create beautiful gifts on your own, or give it as a gift to someone who NEEDS THIS BOOK! I mean, how cute is she in the clothes she made herself???

Sara Baty and I met on the US National Team. She has the most genuine heart and is an incredible artist (her art page is @sbaty_art). In Tulsa, Oklahoma, she teaches painting classes and turns clothing (as well as other things) into pieces of art. Completely custom, I’ve seen Sara create masterpieces with shoes, jackets, and more! You can contact her on Etsy or reach out to her via email

Jackie Fabs is a Northeast friend of mine. She’s a former cheerleader at UD, a nurse, and makes these cute little gifts that are perfect for the holidays! If you know Jackie, you know she has a heart of gold. Now you can bring a little of her holiday love to your kitchen or tree with these precious gifts. Here is her Etsy!

Lastly, a “couple” of my favorite friends– Nick Lutz & Jessie Ayala. You might know them as UCA Staff and/or partner stunt champions, but I know them as close friends who have artistic talents!! Whether you want a custom team logo/alma mater, or a rustic wooden piece to hang up all year, these gifts are made with love for the ones you love. Reach out to Jessie on social media for orders!!

I love this version of multiplied giving during the holiday season. We’ve all got to stick together supporting each other’s business success! If you like some of the pieces you see above, be sure to remember my friends for gift-giving occasions all year!

Happy Gift Giving Season!!!
